Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Brunch
By Emma Waugh, @girleatseverything and CharlotteBergerPR Account Executive
While our crew typically gets together at one of Charleston’s incredible restaurants, bars or events for our monthly meetups, recently we enjoyed a delicious boozy brunch at one of our members’ beautiful marsh-front homes, featuring Natural Blonde bloody marys. Natural Blonde bloody mary mix is made locally in Charleston, with fresh hand-picked South Carolina yellow tomatoes, giving it a unique golden hue and lighter taste.
While this low-sodium, low-sugar mix tastes great on its own, turning up with heat with some Dixie Pepper Vodka (and garnishes galore) took it to the next level. We also rimmed our glasses with Salty Blonde, a salty and smoky spice mix made by Natural Blonde.
We always love supporting a local business, and love that Natural Blonde is family-owned and operated here in Charleston. Their distinct blend of Valencia Gold and Carolina Gold tomatoes, green hot sauce, sweet-hot pickle juice and secret spices, which is free of artificial preservatives, makes for a cheers-worthy beverage.
Something else worth toasting to: Natural Blonde is donating $1 from every jar sold online between January 14 and February 14 to our Q1 charity partner, My Sister’s House. In addition to providing a safe shelter to domestic abuse survivors and their children since 1980, My Sister’s House also offers legal advocacy, group counseling and individual therapy, clinical support groups, community educational outreach and more.
