82 Queen Events Lowcountry Boil

While our TastemakersCHS team typically meets at one of Charleston’s renowned restaurants, this time, the feast came to us with a classic Lowcountry Boil catered by 82 Queen Events. There’s truly nothing more quintessentially Charleston than enjoying a waterfront Lowcountry Boil surrounded by friends.
We kicked off the meal like any good Lowcountry Boil should – chatting over local beers and refreshing wines (thanks to Boutique Beverage Company). Meanwhile, the 82 Queen Events team was hard at work patiently preparing our feast.
We loved watching as Jonathan and Patrick of 82 Queen Events poured the freshly cooked pot onto the table with the marsh as our stunning backdrop. Eagerly, we lined up to fill our plates with shrimp, sausage, potatoes, onion and corn, all slow-cooked in their signature seasoning, along with mouthwatering Jalapeno Corn Muffins. For those craving an extra kick, each person received a bottle of 82 Queen’s famous Hot Sauce.
We can’t help but wish for a Lowcountry Boil every weekend. Lucky for us, with 82 Queen Events, this dream can be a reality. Their full-service catering makes hosting an event a breeze—just show up, and they handle the rest.
From June 21 to July 21, 82 Queen Events is donating a portion of their catering sales to our Q2 charity partner, Kids on Point. This incredible organization provides year-round education and life-readiness programs for children in underserved communities.
