Dashi

The dog days of Dashi are officially here, and we got to enjoy it to the fullest. We recently headed to this North Charleston hotspot (where we’ve chowed down in the past), but this time, we got to bring our furry friends for their new Paws on the Patio night! The weather could not have been better as we sipped, ate and belly laughed at the sight of our dogs trying to have as good of a time as we were.
Drinks included ice cold beers courtesy of Revelry Brewing and Spicy Margaritas courtesy of Dashi’s talented mixologist. As the apps poured out from the kitchen onto our table, our eyes grew WIDE. We sunk our teeth into their signature Tomato Bread (trust us on this one), Patatas Bravas with Sriracha Hollandaise, Duck Quesadillas, Steamed Buns and Thai Wings.
Dashi has a killer menu for those who prefer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options, so while some of us dove into the Shrimp Tacos and Beef Salad, others munched on Pad Thai, Tofu Stir Fry and Veggies Tacos, and were just as satisfied.
We’re not going to say we planned this Tastemakers meet up around the opening of Dashi’s new Dessert Camper, but we were pretty happy when we were treated to some ice cream (hello Cirsea Black Sesame with caramel drizzle!) and King of Pops Pup Cups for our little ones as well.
Paws on the Patio happens every Thursday night at Dashi from 6-8 p.m. $1 from every pint of Revelry beer sold will go to the Charleston Animal Society, an amazing local nonprofit that fights to end animal cruelty and strives to keep them safe and healthy in SC. Don’t skimp on the $2 King of Pops Pup Cups for your four legged friends!
Dashi is located at 1262 Remount Road in North Charleston, and be sure to check out their food truck located at Ghost Monkey Brewery weekly!
