Home to our first ever TastemakersCHS event back in January 2016, 5Church has always had a special way of making our group feel right at home. Executive Chef Adam Hodgson and the rest of 5Church’s team invited us in to try their new Summer Menu- complete with cocktails, Rose Flights (can I get a hallelujah?) and dishes including the greatest gift to ever grace a restaurant menu- Sushi Tots. From the hand-painted “Art of War” on the ceiling to the angel wing lights to the jaw-dropping stained glass windows, 5Church’s interiors never fail to impress us all. Chef Adam blew us away with his unique ingredient combinations and use of local ingredients right from 5Church Partner Chef and Top Chef Alumni Jamie Lynch’s new farm in North Carolina. In true 5Church fashion, Louis and I were even given Happy Birthday Smore’s desserts to conclude our meals, celebrating our birthdays earlier in June. Their team truly is the best of the best!

Gemelli Pasta: local veggies, roasted red pepper, coconut emulsion, parm
Sea Scallops: local shrimp pirlou, melted leeks, tomato-lime emulsion
