Yo Art!

We were so pleased that Gale Restaurant agreed to partner with local nonprofit- Yo Art! as part of our Tastemakers Charity Partnership Program. For the month of August, Gale donated 15% of all orders placed with the code “TastemakersCHS” to Yo Art!- which resulted in a $300 donation!

Yo Art! aims to enhance Title 1 students’ education by providing them with a variety of media arts and tech programs. These 12-week programs cover topics such as coding, photography, filmmaking, and design, and serves to inspire and empower kids by promoting creativity and teaching real-world skills.

Yo Art! hopes to strengthen the program by expanding its reach into higher levels of education so that pre-existing students can continue to grow their creative skills. The organization hopes to host more Professional Development Workshops so that a larger number of teachers can become instructors and therefore more students can be exposed to the educational opportunities Yo Art! offers.
