My fav. foodie friends were invited to experience Cannon Green's new Happy Hour from Chef Michael Perez who took over Chef Amalia Scatena's position in March. Chef Perez's food is just as gorgeous as Cannon Green's stunning interiors and blew the gang away from start to finish. But seriously- have you ever seen such a sexy space?
First up- COCKTAILS! So many options, so little time....

Cannon Green's chips, queso & guacamole were next level- and A+ for presentation. Why can't all dips be served in adorable pots? But really- why?

Cannon Green also takes #TacoTuesday very seriously- with a different $2 option offered every week. We were blessed with endless trays of these babies- chipotle chicken, queso, radish, mango and lime crema.
Next up were some apps found on their normal dinner menu....

Bottom Line: Cannon Green offers one of the happiest hours (or two) in the #843- with $2 tacos, $5 cocktails, 1/2 off apps and an unreal $10 burger offered every Wednesday-Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Happy hour imbibers are also given a PLINKO chip, for use at the game board near the bar. It appears almost impossible to lose- as our group all won coupons redeemable for such specials as $5 burgers and $10 mimosa cafes for Sunday brunch. Oh yes- their brunch is also a Charleston must- with dishes like Lemon Buttermilk Pancakes, Steak & Eggs, an insane Cinnamon Roll Dutch Baby with cream cheese icing and Croque Madame (below)! Don't miss their Beats & Brunch Sundays offered once a month, featuring live DJ beats with themes like Micky Mouse Club and 90's MMMbop.
