My Sister's House

We are so excited to partner with My Sister’s House, an incredible local nonprofit that provides support services and education to domestic violence survivors. First opened in 1980, the organization offers advocacy, an emergency shelter, counseling and therapy, education and training, a 24-hour crisis line and clinical support groups. All of their services are completely free and confidential.

In 2022, My Sister’s House made the innovative and challenging shift to a Private Shelter model, providing safe, confidential, private shelter to victims and their children fleeing violence. In the first year of the new model, they provided over 2,500 nights of safe shelter for the clients and children they serve.

We had an incredible lineup of culinary partners, Bar Vaute, Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix and Sommba Cocina & Cellar, that helped us raise awareness and funds for My Sister’s House’s life-changing work, through monthly culinary giveback programs and meetups.
